Pernahkah anda terfikir bagaimana anda boleh download rancangan rancangan Astro di YouTube. Ya, rancangan rancangan tersebut  BIASAnya telah direcord oleh kaki kaki torrener seperti di laman web jiwang.cc setelah itu didownload oleh peers dan akhirnya di convert ke saiz yang lebih kecil sebelum di UPLOAD ke YOUTUBE. Okey di sini saya ingin menerangkan lebih lanjut langkah langkah yang diperlukan untuk membolehkan PC anda merekod TV dari channel ASTRO.

Tools yang diperlukan:

1. USB External Video Capture (RM85.00)
2. Dekoder Astro
3. Laptop / Desktop
4. Kabel Audio / Video ( Merah / Putih / Kuning) (RM 18 include shipping)
5. Kabel S-Video ( Optional )
6. Hardisk Sekurang Kurangnya 20Gb ( Untuk Simpanan Sementara )

Software yang diperlukan

1. Cyberlink Power Director Version 5 And Above ( Recording Process)  – Download Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4| Part 5
2. Womble M-peg VCR ( Editing Process ) – Download
3. Auto GK ( Convert To Avi ) – Download
4. Virtual Dub 1.8.8 ( Optional Untuk Cut Video Sebagai Sample ) – Download

Recording Process

1. Cara pemasangan (Boleh rujuk gambar di atas) Pss: Senang jer, match kan port yang sesuai, baca label dsb
2. Install Driver USB External Video Capture (From the CD provided )
3. Install and open the Cyberlink Power Director
4. Click ‘Capture’ ( Use the setting below )
5. Click ‘Profile’
6. Profile Setup –> Mpeg-2 Video
7. Edit –> Video Resolution –> 720×576 [DVD Pal]
8. Audio –> Audio Compression –> Dolby Digital –> Audio Compression Rate –> 256 Kbps –> OK
9. ]Audio Input –> Digital Audio Interface
10. Adjust Video –> Default
11. TV Setup –> Television Signal Format –> Format (Non-Tuner) –> Pal_B –> OK
12. Click ‘Record’ to starts the Recording Process and ‘Stop’ to terminate the recoding session.

Info:

• Adjust the volume recording by using the Astro’s remote control
• During Recording Process, there is nothing sound comes from the PC and Laptop’s speaker.

For Analog Video Setting (For Analog TV)

• Capture Device –> Syntek ST1160 ( USB External Video Capture )
• Capture Source –> S-Video / Video Composite ( Pilih Mana Yang sesuai )
• Audio Device –> USB Audio Interface

Editing Process

1. Open the Software MPEG Video Wizard
2. Edit the Recorded TV program by removing the unnecessary part such as TV Ads for reducing the size of the file.
3. Click Open File –> Add File MPEG (Recorded TV file)
4. Useful Button:

• Forward
• Reverse
• Button N/M/F [Control the speed of video ]
• Mark In [ Starting mark of the file that we want to cut]
• Mark Out [ Ending mark  of the file that we want to cut]
• Button Cut [ Delete the part between Mark In and Mark Out]

Converting Process (Convert to .avi)

1. Auto Gk Untuk Convert to Format Avi [1.4gb / 700mb / 350mb / 175mb ]
2. Size 1.4gb – For duration more than 2 hours. [Stay the Quality)
3. Size 700mb - Commonly and popular size for movie.
4. Size 350mb - For TV Series [ 40 ke 60 Minutes ]
5. Size 175mb – For TV Series 30 Minutes below

Open the software

Step 1 [ Input And Output File ]

• Input File [ Insert the Mpeg file]
• Output File [ Set the name for Avi's fileand the location for storing the converted file]

Step 2 [ Audio Tracks & Subtitle Tracks ]

• Left Default

Step 3 [ Select Output Size ]

• Tick Predefined Size
• Choose the right size [1.4gb / 700mb / 350mb / 175mb ]
• or use [ Custom Size / Target quality ]

Step 4 [ Advanced Parameters

• Click Advanced Setting
• Output Resolution Setting –> Auto Width
• Output Audio Type –> VBR MP3,128 kbps
• Codec –> XviD
• Others left default –> OK

Step 5

• Click Add Job –> Click START
• Wait and see the result.
• Duration for converting process is about 30 minutes to 3 hours depend on the size of the file and the PC performance.
• After finish cnverting, Delete all the MPEG file except the .avi file
